The timetable you travel and the projects you may be involved with are all geared to your skills and interests, and the programme needs. If you are interested in participating in our Volunteer Program, complete an application form and we will work with you to identify your best placement options. There is no obligation or fee to apply. Volunteering for The Nasio Trust Become part of a community in the vibrant small Western Kenyan Village, working with children who have been affected by poverty and the aids epidemic. HIV/AIDS has taken its toll leaving young children orphaned or abandoned meaning many fail to attend school and attain basic literacy. You will get the opportunity to work alongside teachers at our children centers and local primary schools, providing education to the most vulnerable children, counseling, medical clinics, and encouraging environmental and social awareness as well as supporting our children. You will also get the opportunity to participate in building or agricultural projects, or simply assist in the day-to-day tasks of one of our partners; the camaraderie and friendships that develop enrich lives forever. We will work closely with each volunteer to ensure comprehensive preparation, including both an understanding of the people with whom you will be working, and all considerations necessary for travel overseas.
