The Nasio Trust Charity Golf Day! Join us for a fun-filled day of golf, community, and giving back.

Date: Thursday, September 11th, 2025

Location: The stunning Springs Golf Club in Wallingford

Format: Four ball competition played across 18 holes

  • Start Time: 9:30 am shotgun start
  • Standard Price: £360 per 4 player team (£90 per person) – includes entry, breakfast, and a two-course lunch
  • Fun Extras: Auction & Raffle with amazing prizes! Donations welcome (all proceeds support the Nasio Trust’s mission in Kenya)

Jiggers: A Preventable Crisis with Life-Changing Consequences

Jiggers are initially thought to come from Central and South America, the jigger parasite found its way to Africa, likely through human migration. Once it burrows into the skin – most commonly in the feet – it causes severe inflammation, ulceration, and unbearable itching.

Left untreated, the infection can escalate to tetanus, gangrene, or even the loss of limbs.
