Rescue, Restoration and Reintegration – Every Child deserves a loving family!

For Irene, Isaiah and Grace, it has been a story of rescue, restoration and reintegration.

The three children were abandoned by both their parents after being exposed to both domestic violence and negligence. Their feet were badly infected by jiggers, and they often went without food. They were taken in by their great grandmother, but in truth she was simply too old to take good care of the three active children.

James Landale Swims The Bosphorus

On Sunday July 22nd the incredible James Landale successfully swam the 6.5km stretch of water known as the Bosphorus. Effectively swimming between the continents of Europe and Asia!

He raised an amazing £10,000 and shared it between 3 charities - one of which was The Nasio Trust.

3 Men In A Boat Take On The Thames

Nasio trustee and director of GardPass Cyber Neil Passingham has teamed up with Felipe Dias and Emilio Perri to navigate the entire length of the River Thames.

They'll begin at the source in the Cotswolds and make their way through London and on to the sea during July, August & September whilst raising funds for The Nasio Trust.

In Loving Memory of Laventa Atieno Opatha

It is with deep sadness that we inform our supporters of the untimely death of 10 year old Laventa Atieno Opatha.

Laventa sadly passed away in her sleep last Wednesday 11th July. Her death has come as a complete shock to us all at The Nasio Trust, especially our team in Kenya and most importantly Laventa’s family and friends.
