A School Uniform Thank You!

We recently received this wonderful video from Kenya of our Nasio-supported children saying thank you for the Gingham dresses and jumpers donated/knitted by our supporters.

As you might recall, education is free in Kenya, but children are required to have a school uniform in order to attend school. Consequently the importance of these donations cannot be overstated.

You may remember in May we featured one of Nasio's first supported children, Rajab, who is now a clinical officer working at our medical centre. I am now delighted to tell you that his younger sister, Amidah Makokha, has joined the Kenya Medical Training College, to start her certificate in Health Records Information Technology. She was inspired by her volunteer work and by her brother Rajab.
