Successful Daymark Covid Appeal raised £32,500 after donation doubling!

Many thanks to everyone who supported this campaign. Donations ranged from £5 upwards and every penny counted. We even had supporters who ran sponsored relay-marathons in their garden and other sponsored runs! We feel incredibly blessed by our Friends of Nasio.

Conor & Bryn Complete 31 Half-Marathons in 31 Days
June 2020

Conor and Bryn have completed a truly incredible undertaking.

At the start of May they both set out to complete an incredible 31 half-marathons. That’s one every singe day throughout the month. They also set the ambitious goal of completing every one in under 2 hours.

They wanted to support our COVID-19 relief efforts in Kenya by raising funds, whilst challenging themselves to complete a gruelling 406 cumulative miles of running.

On Sunday May 31st they crossed the finish line!

All of us here at Nasio would like to thank and commend them on this incredible achievement.

Muslim Farmers Project

Medina Rajab is a Muslim farmer from Ichinga village, she benefited from the Nasio Trust Muslim farming project where she received maize seeds, fertilizer, and vegetable seeds. She managed to harvest 2 bag of maize which she stored for consumption.

Vegetable production has improved her family’s health by increasing the number of meals per day. Previously, her family used to have a single meal a day but after harvesting the vegetables, she manages 2 meals a day due to availability of enough vegetables.
